To Whom It May Concern:

After looking at four different facilities, I was very impressed by the tour and the staff here at the Heritage Inn; no confusing tiers or levels of care to contend with, just good caring people. I've always been apprehensive about transitioning my dad to assisted living, but after being here just a month or two, he and I felt like he was just at home. It's been seven months now and all of my expectations have been exceeded. The nursing staff seems to take a personal interest in my father's well being. If there are any irregularities, I am notified promptly. When visiting there are always activities taking place-things that seem exercise not only one's body but their mind as well.

The chef, and her staff serve food that is worth going out of your way for. I feel privileged to eat here. The dining hall is exceptional with the pretty views. Living over 4 hours away, I no longer cringe when the phone rings because I know my dad is in good hands.

The building is very clean and has a homey, warm feel to it. That is definitely reinforced by the girls who make me feel included during my visits. The facility sells itself, but I can't say enough about the staff. If you are considering moving your loved one, the Heritage Inn gets two thumbs up from me.

Family and friends are welcome and encouraged to share a meal with our residents. After all it is now their home. Holiday lunches are a special time for residents, family and friends to gather around the table.

Dear Sir or Madam:

Watching a beloved family member slip away into the realm of Alzheimer's is very sad. Without the caring staff at Heritage Inn, this journey would be much harder.

Kelly has used her knowledge and experience in caring for seniors to make my aunt's life comfortable and meaningful. She has conferred with my aunt's physician to provide the best medical answers. She provides loving hugs and caring words to the residents at Heritage Inn. She is always available to assist family members with the care of their loved ones.

A kind and caring home-like atmosphere is furnished by the staff. Their patience is amazing and they truly care about the residents.

Heritage Inn provides a bridge on a journey for the residents.

Going above and beyond

We receive many letters like this, and we strive to continue receiving them. We hope one day we can affect you and your loved ones in the same way we have touched these families.

Dear Madam,

I want you to know how much I and my family appreciate the extraordinary care you and your staff provided for mom the past 5 months. You have always taken time to discuss any issue with concern and in a professional pleasant manner. I have been in and out of your facility at all times of the day and night and have always found it neat, peaceful and comfortable. Mom mentioned many times how well she was treated by you and your staff. She complimented the chef many times and commented how she had gained a few pounds due to the quality meals served. Mom could be very demanding at times and for her to pay these compliments, really said a lot.

I really appreciate being kept informed by phone calls on any and all issues which arose, which with mom, were many. It is great to know our seniors are being cared for by individuals such as yourself and staff. Please give a special thanks to Kelly for all she did for mom. She is fantastic working with the residents and families.

Many thanks to all and we will miss you. Keep up the great work!

To All Staff Members,

I would like to thank all of you for the care and level of professionalism you exuded while carrying for my grandmother, Marguerite. Whe waas my last grandparent and it was extremely hard to deal with her passing. What made the transition easier for all of my family was seeing how much the staff at Heritage honestly cared for her and us. You all offered not just snacks and drinks to us, but a shoulder to lean (or cry) on and support through this touch time. I appreciate all you did for her and for the rest of us. Thank you!

To All Staff,

Words cannot express how much we appreciate the wonderful care you gave to our mother. It was not just the physical care that you provided, it was knowing that you truly cared about her there, but you all made it easier. And she did come to think of it as “home”. In the last couple of months, she would often ask when she could come back to you guys. Thank you for the flowers. But most of all, thank you for loving our Mother.

Dear Nursing Staff,

You guys are the best!

Thank you for taking such good care of my dad (and my dog, too.) You’re always giving Dad hugs and kisses, which he loves! And you just seem genuinely cncerned about taking care of him. You’re all credits to your profession! My brother and I are so thankful we found you.
